SILENCIO – AENSCHOU

The exhibtion, Silencio, was held for three days in a church in the village Noordwijk, near the city of Leiden in western Netherlands. On each of the three days, a concert was performed admist the work of several Dutch and international artists. Two of my pieces were shown in this exhibition: Stage (levels) and Aenschou. Aenschou, was specifically made for the choir area, and consisted of 12 spheres, 13 pieces of cloth, 12 ceramic wedges and 14 foot-shaped silhouettes. Aenschou is an old Dutch word that means perceive. It is one of the words found in the choir text.
