The ruins of the Ravensteyn Castle are located very close to harbors of Rotterdam. Every year a sculpture exhibition takes place in the park around the ruin. 6 works were shown in the castle, one piece; Stage (Tafel) located in the central area of the castle where once a huge stove existed, was created specifically for this exhibition. This piece was made of a more than life size wooden table with several ceramic pieces on top and wet clay added between the pieces. During the show Stage (Tafel) changed gradually as the clay started to dry, got wet again and partly washed away. The exhibition in the ruin in 2009 was made possible through Gallery Petra Spuijbroek, Haarlem, the Netherlands
